German defense company Rheinmetall and Dutch firm Nooteboom Trailers have partnered to develop advanced heavy equipment transport systems for military use. This collaboration aims to address the increasing demand for transporting heavy military assets across Europe. The agreement covers joint development, production, and marketing of heavy equipment trailers, with manufacturing expected to take place in Romania. The systems will combine Rheinmetall’s military trucks with Nooteboom’s specialized trailers to create efficient transport solutions. Nooteboom brings decades of experience in designing trailers capable of carrying extremely heavy loads, while Rheinmetall contributes its expertise in military vehicle production and global market reach. Together, they aim to deliver integrated solutions that meet the evolving needs of modern armed forces.
