British defense contractor Babcock has partnered with Canadian engineering company AtkinsRéalis under a five-year agreement to strengthen engineering support for UK defense and submarine programs. The collaboration will improve engineering capacity, simplify procurement, and accelerate support for complex military infrastructure projects. AtkinsRéalis will provide specialist expertise for submarine and defense infrastructure work, while Babcock aims to improve coordination during the early stages of defense program development. Similar agreements have also been signed with nine additional suppliers, reflecting increasing demand for military engineering services amid rising defense spending by the UK and allied nations.
