Austal has delivered the Royal Australian Navy’s eighth Evolved Cape-class patrol vessel, the ADV Cape Schanck (313), at its Henderson facility in Western Australia. The vessel is part of a 10-ship program aimed at replacing the Navy’s aging Armidale-class patrol boats, which have been in service since the 2000s. The previous ship in the series, ADV Cape Solander (312), was delivered in September 2024.
