The Philippines has signed an agreement with French shipbuilder OCEA to supply 40 fast patrol boats to strengthen the country’s coast guard fleet. Based on the FPB 110 MK 2 model, the deal includes comprehensive logistics and maintenance support. These vessels will join the five OCEA-built patrol boats already in Philippine service, including the 84-meter BRP Gabriela Silang, the nation’s first large offshore patrol ship from the same company.
