Naval Group has proposed the Scorpéne Evolved submarine featuring Lithium-ion battery propulsion, enabling extended underwater endurance of up to 80 days. The platform eliminates the need for AIP systems, reduces acoustic signature, and integrates advanced propulsion like Permanent Magnet Motors. It also offers a Vertical Launch System capable of deploying missiles such as BrahMos-NG.
