Saab has entered into a framework agreement with Sabena technics, a French company specializing in aircraft maintenance and modifications, to undertake modification work on Saab’s GlobalEye Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) aircraft.
This long-term agreement is designed to establish a foundation for future collaboration, encompassing complex aircraft modifications and related services for the GlobalEye platform.
GlobalEye is Saab’s cutting-edge multi-domain AEW&C system based on Bombardier’s Global 6000/6500 business jets. Converting these airframes into fully operational GlobalEye platforms requires highly skilled personnel to carry out technically demanding modifications.
