Thailand has expanded its Airbus C295 tactical transport fleet with an order for two additional aircraft, increasing total fleet strength to five platforms. The aircraft will support troop transport, cargo delivery, and humanitarian operations while enhancing the Royal Thai Air Force’s regional air mobility capability. Known for its short take-off and landing performance, the C295 is optimized for operations from austere and unprepared airstrips, making it particularly useful for disaster relief and remote-area logistics missions.
