Hindustan Aeronautics Limited is preparing for a major expansion in helicopter manufacturing with plans to deliver around 1,000 military helicopters over the next two decades. The production roadmap includes utility, combat, and multi-role platforms designed to meet the requirements of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Supported by new manufacturing facilities and increasing indigenous content, the initiative is expected to enhance operational readiness while reducing dependence on imported aircraft.
