The United States has approved a potential sale of 12 UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters and associated support equipment to Austria. The acquisition is intended to enhance the country’s operational mobility, disaster response capability, and interoperability with allied forces. Featuring advanced avionics, improved survivability systems, and multi-role mission flexibility, the UH-60M will strengthen Austria’s ability to conduct transport, security, and coalition support operations while modernizing its rotary-wing fleet.
