Elbit Systems has received a $212-million US Army order to continue production of Enhanced Night Vision Goggle-Binocular systems through 2028. The ENVG-B combines thermal imaging, image intensification, augmented reality overlays, and passive targeting functions into a single wearable platform designed to improve soldier awareness in low-visibility conditions. Unlike earlier procurement phases, Elbit was selected as the sole prime contractor for this production order, reinforcing its position in next-generation soldier vision technologies.
