Indian defense electronics company Data Patterns (India) Limited has revealed that its work on mission systems for the Tejas Mk2 fighter will contribute directly to the development of India’s fifth-generation AMCA stealth aircraft. In addition to designing the AMCA’s glass cockpit, the company aims to expand into strategic areas such as radar systems, radar warning receivers, and electronic warfare technologies. The initiative supports India’s broader objective of strengthening domestic aerospace capabilities and reducing dependence on foreign suppliers for critical fighter aircraft subsystems.
