Romania has moved to strengthen its air mobility capabilities through the acquisition of additional C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft. The new-generation platforms will feature upgraded avionics, modern communication systems, and aerodynamic enhancements while remaining fully compatible with the nation’s existing fleet. Designed for missions ranging from emergency response and disaster relief to military transport, the aircraft will contribute to national resilience and regional security cooperation.
