India has significantly enhanced coordination between the Air Force and Army through deeper integration of the Integrated Air Command and Control System (IACCS) and the Akashteer battlefield network. The upgraded architecture improves situational awareness, accelerates threat response times, and enables seamless coordination between multiple defence assets. Recent exercises demonstrated the system’s ability to support real-time decision-making and joint operations across complex operational environments.
