Indian defense company N3X Defence has introduced an innovative mobile launch concept for its WRATH unmanned aerial vehicles, enhancing battlefield survivability through shoot-and-scoot operational tactics. The system integrates a hydraulic launcher onto a High Mobility Vehicle capable of transporting and rapidly deploying five containerized WRATH drones. Once positioned, the launcher elevates automatically before sequential drone launches are initiated, allowing operators to relocate immediately after deployment and reduce vulnerability to enemy counterfire. The mobile concept significantly improves operational flexibility by enabling rapid drone deployment from dispersed locations while supporting reconnaissance, surveillance, loitering attack, and other tactical missions. Such highly mobile launch systems are increasingly becoming an essential feature of modern drone warfare, particularly in high-threat environments where static launch sites face growing risks from precision-guided weapons.
