BAE Systems Eyes Local Production of Tridon Mk 2 BAE Systems is evaluating the possibility of manufacturing its Tridon Mk 2 mobile air-defence system in India through partnerships with domestic industry. The Swedish-developed system is being positioned as a contender for the Indian Army’s future V-SHORADS requirement. Equipped with an advanced 40 mm Bofors gun, Tridon Mk 2 is designed to counter aircraft, helicopters, and drones.
