Taiwan has taken delivery of its initial shipment of MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) from the United States. The exact quantity of missiles received has not been revealed, according to state media outlet CNA, which cited a source within Taiwan’s military. Reports indicate that Taipei received the longest-range variant of the system, capable of hitting targets up to 300 kilometers (186 miles) away—placing parts of mainland China within striking distance.
