Sikorsky and Robinson Helicopter Company are developing the R66 TURBINETRUCK, an autonomous helicopter designed to transform military cargo delivery and resupply operations. The aircraft features a modular architecture that allows operators to update mission software and configure the platform for different operational requirements. Derived from technologies used in the S-70UAS U-Hawk program, the helicopter includes a larger cargo fuselage, reinforced cargo floor, and a nose-mounted clamshell door that enables faster loading and unloading of palletized supplies.
