The US Navy has completed a major testing milestone for integrating the Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM) with the F-35C Lightning II. The testing phase evaluated aircraft performance while carrying the missile and supports future separation and live-fire trials. Combining the stealth fighter’s sensor capabilities with LRASM’s autonomous targeting and long-range precision strike features will significantly expand maritime strike options against heavily defended naval targets.
