Lockheed Martin has secured an $8.4-billion contract modification from the US Army to expand production and sustainment of the Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) program. The agreement extends procurement activities through 2032 and supports increased manufacturing capacity, follow-on development, and operational deployment. Designed to replace legacy ATACMS weapons, the PrSM provides long-range precision strike capability against high-value targets at distances of up to 500 kilometers.
