Poland is strengthening its indigenous defense manufacturing capacity through a new industrial partnership with American defense technology company Anduril. The agreement establishes local production of the Barracuda-500M long-range cruise missile, with manufacturing led by PGZ and supported by progressive localization of European supply chains. Designed for affordability and rapid production, the missile combines extended strike range with autonomous guidance to engage both maritime and land-based targets. The project not only enhances Poland’s long-range strike capability but also supports NATO’s broader objective of expanding European missile production capacity and improving alliance resilience through regional manufacturing.
