Anduril Industries and Voyager Technologies have established a strategic partnership focused on propulsion and related technologies for US weapons and missile-defense programmes. The agreement is intended to support activities ranging from development and testing to qualification and higher-rate production. Voyager already holds contracts worth more than $60 million to supply Anduril with technologies such as solid rocket motors and divert-and-attitude-control systems. Those agreements were established before the new partnership and are now being expanded through a more formal relationship. Voyager has invested more than $500 million in propulsion, energetics, and manufacturing capacity. The partnership supports Anduril’s strategy of building a distributed production network by working with specialized suppliers. In September, Anduril and Boeing progressed to the next stage of development for a midrange interceptor under the US Army’s Integrated Fires Protection Capability Increment 2 programme. Their solution combines Boeing’s airframe and seeker technologies with an Anduril solid rocket motor. In July, Anduril also joined Elbit Systems of America to compete for the Army’s Self-Propelled Howitzer Modernization programme, bringing autonomous technologies and battlefield networking to Elbit’s SIGMA artillery platform. In April, Anduril announced another partnership with the UK’s Kraken Technology Group to manufacture small unmanned surface vessels for the US Navy.
