South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration has authorized the development of an advanced version of its Long-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (L-SAM) system. Backed by a 567.7 billion won ($388 million) investment through 2028, the project will be led by the Agency for Defense Development in partnership with 19 other companies to boost the country’s air defense capabilities.
