Belgium is planning to enhance its military defense by acquiring between 200 and 300 Piorun shoulder-launched air defense systems from Poland. The deal, confirmed via a letter of intent signed by the defense ministers of both countries, will also cover training tools and support services. Financial terms and delivery dates were not disclosed. Built by Mesko, the Piorun has been combat-tested in Ukraine against threats like low-flying aircraft, drones, and helicopters.
