Embraer has signed an agreement with Greece’s Hellenic Aerospace Industry to explore establishing local maintenance, repair, and overhaul support for the C-390 Millennium transport aircraft. The initiative could allow Greece to manage part of the aircraft’s sustainment domestically, improving operational readiness while reducing dependence on overseas support infrastructure. The development comes as Greece evaluates the C-390 as part of a broader military modernization effort aimed at upgrading tactical airlift capability and strengthening long-term aerospace self-reliance.
