Saab has unveiled a full-scale concept model of A3-001, a proposed stealth-oriented autonomous fighter designed to explore future air-combat requirements. The concept provides an early indication of how the company could approach next-generation loyal-wingman and autonomous combat aircraft technologies.A3-001 combines low-observable design principles with advanced autonomy and a software-driven architecture. The aircraft is intended to operate at supersonic speeds while supporting missions across multiple operational domains.One of the concept’s notable features is its cloud-native software architecture.
