The Pentagon and Lockheed Martin have reached a preliminary agreement for the next two production batches—lots 18 and 19—of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Though final details are still under negotiation, both parties confirmed that the number of jets and total cost will be revealed once the contract is officially finalized.
