The US Coast Guard has received its 18th C-130J airframe from Lockheed Martin for conversion into an HC-130J Combat King II aircraft. As part of a broader modernization plan, the aircraft will undergo a one-year outfitting process in Georgia to align with the service’s specifications for enhanced long-range maritime surveillance and transport operations.
