Australia has successfully tested its first domestically produced Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) at the Woomera Test Range. The system, capable of precision strikes beyond 70 km, was fired using the M142 HIMARS. The initiative, led by Lockheed Martin Australia, supports local manufacturing and future missile programs. Data from the test will contribute to certification and expansion of Australia’s defense industry.
