Canada has received its first Airbus H135 helicopter under the Royal Canadian Air Force’s Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) program. Designated as the CT-153 Juno, the aircraft is equipped with Airbus’ advanced Helionix avionics suite and will support basic flight instruction, instrument flight training, and tactical helicopter operations. The delivery forms part of a 19-aircraft order under a long-term modernization initiative aimed at replacing legacy pilot training systems. Based at 15 Wing Southport, the fleet will play a central role in preparing future Canadian military aviators while supporting a broader acquisition of more than 70 training aircraft across multiple platforms.
