Iraq has received the first two H225M Caracal medium-lift helicopters from Airbus, as part of a 14-unit agreement signed in the previous year. Delivered to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense in Baghdad, the helicopters are expected to be transferred to the Iraqi Air Force and enter service in June. Six more are planned for delivery between June and October, with the remaining aircraft arriving by early 2026.
