Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) has secured a U.S. Government contract for the production of Generation 4 Target Acquisition Designation Sight/Pilot Night Vision Sensor (Gen 4 TADS/PNVS) systems. This contract supports the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) agreement recently signed for the Polish Air Force’s AH-64E Apache attack helicopters. Notably, this order is the first to include the Common Sensor Electronic Unit (CSEU) and Generation 2 Turret as standard components for the AH-64E sensor suite.

The Gen 4 TADS/PNVS system, featuring the CSEU and Gen 2 Turret, offers pilots enhanced long-range targeting and navigation capabilities across day, night, and adverse weather conditions. These advanced sensors enable Apache crews to engage targets precisely from a safe distance.

As part of this effort, Lockheed Martin will collaborate with Poland to establish a TADS/PNVS Special Repair Activity (SRA) at WZL1 in Łódź, strengthening Poland’s defense industrial base. The SRA will provide Poland with essential support for maintaining and servicing its new Apache sensor systems.

This contract underscores Lockheed Martin’s ongoing commitment to equipping international allies with cutting-edge defense technologies, ensuring they are prepared to address evolving global security challenges.
